Vicon

The laboratory is equipped with a Vicon motion capture system with submillimeter precision covering a 9 x 9 m area. The system is available for research and education purposes. It provides position estimates at high frequencies using digital cameras equipped with powerful infrared illuminators. The system is used for ground truth position estimates for mobile robots, manipulators, sensors, and other objects of interest, it also allows for precise and robust full-body pose estimation.

Equipment

The laboratory contains a computer classroom with standard desktop computers and several specialized units such as compact Intel NUC computers, or computers equipped with high-end GPU. Various 2D and 3D cameras, laser rangefinders, RTK GPS systems, ultrasonic sensors, and other sensory equipment are also available in the laboratory.

The laboratory is fully equipped with HW tools for every occasion. This includes workstations with both electrical (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, soldering eq., ...) and mechanical tools (pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, drills, saws, ...), 3D printers, and various other tools.
